Program Highlights

• The UnityPoint Health – Trinity Quad Cities/Muscatine Nurse Residency Program is an evidence-based program supporting newly hired nurse graduates during their first year of employment as an RN.
• The nurse residency program is a professional development opportunity for all new graduate nurses beginning their career at UnityPoint Health – Trinity. The program will provide resources and education to support you professionally and emotionally during your first year of nursing.
• During residency, our team members develop clinical confidence while directly improving clinical safety processes within their unit.

Enrollment Information

The Nurse Residency Program is a required component of orientation for all new graduate nurses hired for hospital-based nursing positions. Nurse residents are assigned to a cohort based upon their hire date with a group of their peers across the hospital setting, with multiple cohorts starting throughout the year. Any new graduate nurse interested in an opportunity to grow professionally and have support throughout their first year of bedside practice can apply for open positions at UnityPoint Health.
