Cardiac S.T.A.B.L.E. Course
As healthcare workers dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, your health and safety is important to us. In order to protect our healthcare teams by social distancing, we will maintain classes but will limit capacity.
This four-hour Cardiac S.T.A.B.L.E. course is designed to complement the S.T.A.B.L.E. Initial Training for Providers course for all maternal/child health care providers. The course includes additional guidelines for neonates with severe congenital heart disease (CHD).
Prerequisite
The course is recommended for maternal/child health care providers (nurses, physicians and respiratory therapists) to address the pre-transport stabilization and post-resuscitation care of sick neonates.
We recommend participants gain clinical experience with neonates prior to taking this course. The S.T.A.B.L.E. organization recommends that participants first complete the S.T.A.B.L.E. Initial Training (Program Learner Course) prior to taking this module.
