Meals that Matter at Home is a program offering four weeks of weekly delivery of fruits and vegetables to the homes of cancer patients and survivors. The program provides participants with:

  • Two recipes each week that utilize the produce provided in their delivery
  • A pantry box of items used in the recipes
  • Videos of four recipes that include preparation steps, nutrition information and tips on washing, storing and using produce
  • Access to a private Facebook group

If you are a patient of John Stoddard Cancer Center, you can receive your pantry and produce boxes free of charge with a scholarship from the Charlie Cutler Healing and Wellness Program. If you are not eligible for a scholarship, have participated in the Meals That Matter at Home program in the past or are a UPH staff or community member and still wish to participate, please register on this site as "Paying participant" and you will be billed by Capital City Fruit for your boxes (approximately $275 total for the 4-week program).

The recipe and video content of this program is open to any cancer patient or survivor. If you would like to view the recipes and videos but not receive the produce boxes, please contact Gina Mandernach at gina.mandernach@unitypoint.org.

Registration deadline is Thursday, June 26, 2025. Your boxes will arrive on Thursday, July 3, 10, 17 and 24 for this 4-week program.
