The Understanding Birth: Express class is a four-hour session, held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Due to the length of this class we encourage participants to bring a snack and/or drink.
This class will cover essential information on pre-labor, stages of labor, vaginal delivery, medical procedures, medical pain relief options available to you and cesarean birth. You will also be watching a birth story showing the progression of labor and delivery. Topics similar to those covered in the Understanding Childbirth: Series are condensed for those participants who are unable to attend the two-week Series course.
Understanding Childbirth: Express does not cover Newborn Care, Breastfeeding, Comfort Techniques or Maternity Tours. Please see the class schedules to register for those classes.
