Information

S.T.A.B.L.E. is the most widely distributed and implemented neonatal education program to focus exclusively on the post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care of sick infants.  Early transitional care affects both the immediate health and the long-term outcome for the infant.

Who Should Attend?

All members of the newborn healthcare team with one year's experience: RNs in mother/baby units; labor & delivery; nursery and postpartum; nurse midwives; providers, hospitalists, mid-level providers; respiratory therapists, and emergency transport personnel.

S.T.A.B.L.E. program

The initial certification course includes didactic with skills practice sessions and simulation scenarios addressing the six assessment and care modules.

  • Emotional Support

Participants are responsible to provide their own Learner Manual-6th Edition. You can purchase a book through the S.T.A.B.L.E. website www.stableprogram.org   You will be asked to complete a pre-assessment prior to class. 

This course meets over a two-day period.
  • Day One is from 8:00 am-4:30 pm 
  • Day Two is from 8:00 am -12:00 pm
