Jennifer A. Havens, RN, MHA, Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer A. Havens is the chief executive officer of UnityPoint Health – Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Havens earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Crichton College, Memphis, Tennessee, and a master's degree in health administration from Des Moines University. She is a registered nurse and has worked in health care for almost 30 years.
She was previously vice president of operations for Central Iowa Healthcare when it was purchased by UnityPoint Health on May 1, 2017 and became UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown. She simultaneously retained her role as the chief executive officer at Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center.
Havens currently serves as a board member for the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa Healthcare Collaborative. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Laura Juel, RN, MSN, Vice President
Laura Juel, RN, MSN, is the vice president of UnityPoint Health – Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Juel comes to GRMC from UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, where she served as the executive director of critical care, trauma, neurosciences, stroke, renal/transplant, and inpatient acute dialysis. She has served in several manager and leadership roles within UnityPoint Health – Des Moines since 2006.
Juel earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa. She has also earned honors within the nursing profession such as the 100 Great Iowa Nurses award and the DAISY Leader award.
Kyle M. Wilcox, MHA, FACHE, FHFMA, Vice President of Finance & Business Development
Kyle M. Wilcox currently serves as the vice president of finance and business development at UnityPoint Health - Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Prior to his current role, Wilcox served as assistant vice president of finance and director of revenue cycle at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.
Wilcox received his BA in Health and Sport Studies from the University of Iowa and his Master of Health Administration from the University of Iowa. Wilcox is a board certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a board certified Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Wilcox is president of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Iowa Chapter. He also serves as a council member on the University of Iowa College of Public Health Alumni Advisory Council. Locally, he serves on the boards of the Grinnell Community Daycare and Preschool and the Grinnell-Newburg School Foundation. His honors include the William G. Follmer, Robert H. Reeves and Frederick T. Muncie awards for his service to the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
