Our People
At UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown, our greatest resource is our people. We work together as a team in providing compassionate, quality care. From the doctors who admit patients, to the nurses, therapists, technicians, housekeepers, social service workers, and many others, we are dedicating our efforts to helping patients and their families who look to us to provide quality care.
The Medical Staff
The physician who admits you is responsible for directing your care while you are in the hospital. Your physician, as coordinator for your treatment program, should be consulted if you have questions regarding your illness.
UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown is a community owned, not-for-profit hospital. We are one of Iowa's most affordable and highest-quality health care providers. We take great pride in the quality and compassion of our medical staff.
The Nursing Staff
24-hour nursing care is provided by our team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. A nursing department director, or clinical coordinator, is responsible for coordinating care on each unit. Your care is delivered by a nursing team of professional health care workers. Feel free to contact your nurse, department director or clinical coordinator if you have questions or concerns.
