Heart & Vascular Services

We are dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care.  Every doctor at the UW Health Arbor Gate Heart Clinic is board-certified in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, vascular surgery and/or vascular medicine. Many are even double- and triple-board-certified in sub-specialty areas. This depth of expertise allows us to offer a full spectrum of cardiovascular services, from prevention up to the most advanced interventions and devices.

Despite our innovation, we are proud to continue to offer our patients a truly unique experience; we combine our nationally recognized expertise, technology and research with the family-focused, personalized care we've become known for.

Groundbreaking Heart and Vascular Care

We are committed to pioneering the newest treatments and research. Our pledge to remain at the forefront of cardiovascular medicine is evident as we continue to provide the next generation of technologies, surgical techniques and clinical research.

If You Need Us, See Us—Quickly

Heart and vascular disease is serious business. You should not have to wait weeks to see a cardiac specialist. That is why we offer patients the opportunity to be evaluated within two days, or sooner, if a problem is urgent.

If you live outside of Madison, we work with your local physician to bring our world-class cardiovascular care close to home in communities throughout southern Wisconsin.

If required, we coordinate rapid transport—whether by ground or by air—for immediate emergency care.

When Emergencies Occur

We hope it never happens to you, but if a heart or vascular emergency occurs, we will be there for you in our state-of-the-art hospital, located on the top two floors of UnityPoint Health – Meriter hospital.

Clinical Research

Medical research trials are a vital component of today's ever-evolving health care field. The Heart & Vascular Institute providers participate in a range of clinical research, giving us the opportunity to test the safety and effectiveness of new medicines, procedures and devices.
