Behavioral Health
The inpatient behavioral health unit provides adults 18 years or older who are experiencing a crisis, a safe environment to stabilize . The unit offers a safe and secure environment, therapy rooms and a partial enclosure of the nursing station.

Skilled Care
The skilled nursing unit at St. Luke's - Downtown provides services to individuals who require daily therapy, nursing intervention or observation, but who do not require the specialized care of a hospital setting. Patients typically spend 14 to 21 days in the skilled nursing unit.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation
The pulmonary rehabilitation program is designed for individuals with chronic lung conditions. The team consists of respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists and registered nurses who have experience in caring for people with chronic lung conditions. The pulmonary rehabilitation program is certified by The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
The goal of pulmonary rehabilitation is to improve the quality of a patient's day-to-day life so they can function independently. Through education and exercise classes, patients will learn more about their medical condition, treatment options and coping strategies. The program will help patients:
- Increase activity tolerance
- Experience less shortness of breath
- Reduce exacerbations
- Maintain healthy behaviors

Imaging
UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's - Downtown imaging technologies include MRI, CT/PET, interventional radiology, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and X-ray. These imaging exams help in the diagnosis and treatment of your injury.
- Some imaging exams require the patient to be fasting or have some type of lab test or bowel prep. If your exam or procedure requires you to have some type of preparation, your nurse or your doctor's office will discuss it with you.
