Abbe Community Mental Health COVID-19 Resources

We are here for you and your family providing high-quality mental health care during this difficult time.

FREE Counseling for Anyone Struggling with the Pandemic

If you or someone you love is dealing with anxiety, insomnia, stress, relationship problems or you're simply not feeling like yourself due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is FREE help available.

UnityPoint Health-AbbeHealth Services is partnering with Hillcrest Family Services in Dubuque to offer FREE mental wellness visits. These are available due to expanded grant funding from the CARES Act and Mental Health/Disability Services of the East Central Region of Iowa.

The grant is open to all residents of Benton, Buchanan, Bremer, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Jones, Johnson and Linn counties, regardless of income level. It covers up to five individual sessions, which can be held in-person or via telehealth. Individuals may also choose to join virtual support groups to talk with peers and provide mutual support.

It is more important than ever to prioritize your mental health! The daily stress caused by the coronavirus, social distancing and the deep financial crisis have had a big impact on all people in our community. It is normal to experience feelings of isolation, anxiety and uncertainty in this unwelcomed global pandemic, but it's important to talk through these stresses. AbbeHealth is here to help.

Grant funds are available through June 2021. Schedule your FREE mental wellness visits today, by calling 319-398-3562.
