UnityPoint Clinic – Express
UnityPoint Clinic Express treats injuries and illnesses that require a healthcare provider's attention but are not life-threatening. Our teams have the experience and expertise to provide high quality care for patients of all ages – typically in under 30 minutes or less. With four convenient clinic locations in Cedar Falls, Waterloo and Waverly, you have easy access to care when you need it.
To help us manage a large number of patients at some of our sites, we are temporarily asking everyone to reserve a time online before coming to the clinic. Before you seek care, know:
Where to Go for Care
- Read our where to go for care guide.
- During the week (Monday – Friday), check with your primary care provider before going to an Express clinic.
- If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the emergency room.
What to Expect at Urgent Care
If you must wait for care, please be patient. Our team is working hard to best serve you. Before you leave home, check current available reservation times and check in online.
COVID-19 Testing Options
Click the COVID-19 testing button below to determine the appropriate testing option before you seek care. Our emergency departments and Express locations DO NOT offer walk-in COVID-19 testing. A provider will see you for your symptoms and determine if a test is needed.
Online Check In
Check in online at any Express location listed below and we'll reserve your place in line, allowing you and your family to wait more comfortably at home – or wherever is convenient – until your estimated visit time!
