UnityPoint Clinic – Express
UnityPoint Clinic Express treats injuries and illnesses that require a health care provider's attention but are not life-threatening. Our teams have the experience and expertise to provide high quality care for patients of all ages – typically in under 30 minutes or less. With five* convenient clinic locations in Cedar Falls, Waterloo and Waverly, you have easy access to care when you need it – no appointment necessary!
*The Express clinic at United Medical Park is temporarily a COVID-19 vaccination clinic and not treating minor illness and injury at this time.
We're asking for your patience and kindness as we experience extremely high volumes of sick patients and requests for COVID-19 testing. Our team is working hard, even putting in extra shifts, to best serve you. If you must wait, please be understanding. Our team members always strive to treat everyone with dignity, respect and give their full attention to your personal needs. Showing kindness is one way we can all get through this together. How you can help:
Know Where to Go for Care
If you aren't feeling well, start by seeing if your primary care provider has availability. If not, check out more information on how to find the right care in the quickest time possible.
View Wait Time Estimates & Spot Reservations
If you must wait for care, please be patient. Before you leave home, check out current location wait time estimates and, if available, reserve your spot online.
Consider COVID-19 Testing Options
For people who aren't sick or recently exposed to COVID-19, but need to be tested, please consider other community testing options such as local pharmacies or public health departments. As always, if you're experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we want to see you as soon as possible — particularly if you're high-risk or unvaccinated. Please see our COVID-19 testing page for more information.
Online Check In
Check in online at any Express location listed below and we'll reserve your place in line, allowing you and your family to wait more comfortably at home – or wherever is convenient – until your estimated visit time!

If you have a life-threatening illness or symptoms, call 911 and go to the Allen Hospital Emergency Department immediately. Learn more about where to get the care you need, when you need it.
