The nurses, therapists and team of UnityPoint at Home hope you are pleased with the care we provide. We believe we can only reach our goal of "the best outcome for every patient every time" when you feel better from the services we give and you are pleased in the way we provided your care. We depend on you to tell us whether or not we have met or exceeded your needs.

How we measure your satisfaction.

We measure your satisfaction by paying close attention to how you answer patient surveys. The surveys help us understand how well we provide home care services to you or to your loved one.

UnityPoint Health, including UnityPoint at Home, puts YOU in the center of all we do. We welcome your feedback; it drives us to do better and better. We listen to what you say and use it to help us deliver the best care in the region.

The survey includes questions required by the Federal Government. Many of the questions measure how often an event has happened. Your choices to answer are:

  • always
  • usually
  • sometimes
  • never

Other home health care agencies in the country also ask the same questions of their patients. The questions and answers from all of the agencies, including UnityPoint at Home, are listed online. The Patient Satisfaction links provide access to the reported data. You may review this information and see how UnityPoint at Home compares with other agencies.

The questions required by the Federal Government, in our opinion, do not give the entire picture. The questions do not measure the quality of the care we provide. Also, this data does not include comments that you may have shared.

When you choose a quality or patient satisfaction report, we link you straight to the results from the Federal Government as reported on the Home Health Compare website. We do this to show you that we do not change the data in any way. This data is managed by the Government and allows people to compare home health agencies on the same questions.

We believe a well-informed patient will be more successful in meeting his or her healthcare needs. We are pleased to share our scores so you can feel confident that you are making the best choice for your health or the health of a loved one.
