Where to Go for Care

If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.

Effective Monday, May 16, 2022 - Masks Required at Hospital and Clinics
Due to increases in COVID-19 positivity rates, confirmed cases and high community transmission levels, masks are now required for all patients, visitors and team members in all hospital and clinic locations. These changes are effective Monday, May 16 at all UnityPoint Health - Grinnell hospital and clinic locations.

Those not recommended to wear a mask are children under 2 years old, those who have trouble breathing, are unconscious, incapacitated or unable to remove the mask without assistance.

UnityPoint Health is now testing all patients admitted to our hospitals for COVID-19. This includes planned admissions and transfers of all ages who have not been tested for COVID-19 in the prior 72 hours.

  • Our Virtual Urgent Care is currently closed so our teams can care for patients in our walk-in clinics. We will work to restore the Virtual Urgent Care service as we are able to meet the needs of our patients and communities.
  • During the week (Monday – Friday), patients are encouraged to check with your primary care provider before going to a walk-in clinic.
  • If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the emergency room.
