With our Express model, you'll receive high-quality urgent care for all ages with extended hours and a goal of door-to-door service in 30 minutes or less. On-site prescriptions are also available to eliminate the need for an extra visit to a pharmacy. Our Fort Dodge location gives you convenient walk-in care close to home – no appointment necessary!
Illnesses and Injuries Treated at Express Clinics
If you have life-threatening health needs, call 911 and go to UnityPoint Health Trinity Emergency Room immediately. Express clinics are best used when your primary care provider is not available and you have a health need that is urgent but not life-threatening, such as:
- Cough, cold, flu and sore throat
- X-ray
- Ear ache, ear pain and ear infections
- Infections, UTIs
- Rashes or minor allergic reactions
- Minor cuts or stitches
- Broken bones
- Muscle aches and sprains
- Minor burns
- Nausea, dizziness or vomiting
- Fever without convulsion
- Neck or back pain
For less serious medical issues, such as flu shots, physicals, medication refills or to leave a message for your primary care doctor, you can access your My UnityPoint patient portal 24/7!
