Providing Care and Grace to Families

Since April 2003, Taylor House Hospice has been providing residential hospice care for patients and families served by Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Blank Children's Hospital, our physicians and other Central Iowa caregivers. Prior to Taylor House, there was no hospice facility on the east side of Des Moines. Today, Taylor House ensures a compassionate, caring program for patients and families, and adds the final key piece to UnityPoint Health – Des Moines' continuum of care. Taylor House Hospice would not have been possible without philanthropy.

Donors Making a Difference

Legacies and Last Wishes Program - Contributions to this program bring joy to numerous patients and their families as they faced end-of-life situations while at Taylor House and in their homes.

Blank Children's Hospital Foundation

You are needed to help Blank Children's fulfill the special and unique needs of being a dedicated children's hospital.

John Stoddard Cancer Center

Charitable gifts allow the latest technology, the most comfortable surroundings and added services that take cancer care beyond just treatment of the disease at John Stoddard Cancer Center.

Accelerating Our Impact

The greatest and most exciting opportunities do not typically happen according to schedule. Gifts designated to the Area of Greatest Need provide UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Foundation leaders with the versatility to allocate resources where and when they are needed most. Similar gifts have helped purchase state-of-the-art equipment and technology, improved our physical campus and supported community projects.

When you give to UnityPoint Health and designate your support to the area of greatest need, your unrestricted gift is instrumental in helping us provide the high-quality care that our patients have come to expect while allowing us to react quickly to the emerging needs of health care.
