Family Medicine at UnityPoint Clinic
Providers at our family medicine clinics care for people of all ages, including children. Family medicine doctors provide a number of important health-related services. In addition to routine checkups, immunizations, annual physical exams and other preventive care, your family medicine doctor can provide a variety of services for your physical, emotional and mental health, including screenings, health risk assessments, pregnancy planning, family development education and family counseling. Our board-certified providers can also offer care for injuries, acute medical conditions, and chronic diseases.

If you are transferring within the UnityPoint Health system, we will already have your medical record for your added convenience. If you're joining our health care family from a different system, we are so happy you're here! Even if you are new to Central Iowa, you can easily see one of our family medicine providers at UnityPoint Clinic. We understand moving can be stressful, so we want to make it as easy as possible for you. To transfer medical records, you (patient) has to sign a release to send records to the patient (you) or directly to a clinic. If you have any questions, feel free to call your new clinic and discuss best options.
