Trinity Foundation (Fort Dodge)
Our Community is Amazing
UnityPoint Health is committed to building healthier communities and innovating how and where healing can happen – both inside our hospitals and out in the community. Philanthropy is an important way to support this mission and connect those with resources to those in need, offering an opportunity to express gratitude for the expertise, care, and kindness experienced through our healthcare.
“Norma was always very passionate about keeping services local and she remained committed to local healthcare. When Trinity Foundation visited with me about this opportunity, it felt very natural to make this gift in Norma’s memory.”

“Since Shelley’s death, I have been an advocate for hospice care and the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. They cared for Shelley, but they also took care of our three boys and me. They allowed me to be a husband and father, not a caretaker. This was something we could not do alone, and I am grateful every day for the compassionate and comforting care that was provided by the hospice team. After Shelley’s death, I never forgot the impact hospice had on our family; how they provided the support we needed as a young family and I wanted this to be available to anyone, regardless of their ability to pay. In visiting with Trinity Foundation, I learned that setting up an endowment is actually easy. This has allowed me to honor Shelley, but also our three sons that meant so much to Shelley.”
