UnityPoint Health - Des Moines Young Advisory Council Elects Two Chair Members
The UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Young Advisory Council (YAC) is excited to announce two elected chair members in 2020. Shannon Draayer (Chair), Director of Health & Well-Being at WesleyLife and Ashley Hardt (Chair-Elect), Legal Counsel at DLL Group are taking on new roles this year.
The Young Advisory Council is also excited to announce five new members in 2020. Christopher Hunt, Quality Engineering Manager for Accumold, Olivia Samples, Membership and Training Coordinator for Iowa Coalition of for Collective Change, Destinee Woodris, Zero Suicide Project Evaluator at the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse, Sarah Wittrock, Nursing Supervisor at UnityPoint Health – Des Moines and Kelsey Bennett, Clinic Administrator for UnityPoint Clinic OB/GYN Methodist Plaza and LGBTQ – Methodist Plaza are the new members this year.
The YAC at UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is comprised of enthusiastic young professionals, residents and UnityPoint Health team members from the Central Iowa area. Members engage with UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Board Members and Senior Leaders to help expand our organization’s knowledge and perspective of our community’s growing needs.
The group was formed in 2017 to provide an opportunity to engage young professionals within Central Iowa with us to learn more about their perspective as well as foster community outreach and have them serve as brand ambassadors within our community.
