UnityPoint Accountable Care Announces New Chief Executive Officer
West Des Moines, Iowa (August 2, 2021) – Dr. Sanjeeb Khatua, President and CEO of UnityPoint Clinic, has been named UnityPoint Accountable Care Chief Executive Officer. In this position, Dr. Khatua will lead UnityPoint Accountable Care, a network compromised of 8,500 independent and employed physicians and providers in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Dr. Khatua was appointed President and CEO of UnityPoint Clinic in November 2020 and will maintain those responsibilities in addition to this new role. He will continue to work closely with UnityPoint Clinic leadership to guide strategic priorities with a strong focus on advancing physician and provider leadership and development and ongoing clinical transformation. Additionally, he will prioritize the continued evolution of UnityPoint Accountable Care, which aims to provide quality and safe care at lower costs with an improved patient experience and increased physician and provider satisfaction.
