Children's Cancer Connection is a nonprofit organization based in Des Moines (with offices in Iowa City and Cedar Falls). This organization helps pediatric cancer patients and their families in Iowa and surrounding states, regardless of treatment outcome or years off treatment. They support the entire family through the entire journey by providing services at little-to-no cost for individuals and families.

The Children's Oncology Group (COG), a National Cancer Institute supported clinical trials group, is the world's largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research. The COG unites more than 7,500 experts in childhood cancer at more than 200 leading children's hospitals, universities, and cancer centers across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe in the fight against childhood cancer.

CureSearch for Children's Cancer is a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support children's cancer research and provide information and resources to all those affected by children's cancer. CureSearch supports clinical trials research at more than 175 local hospitals across the United States. These hospitals participate in National Cancer Institute sponsored clinical trials conducted by the Children's Oncology Group. CureSearch raises funds through individuals, special events, corporations, and private foundations.
