Conditions We Treat
Chronic pain: Chronic pain can last for an extended period (weeks or months). Rather than being associated with an injury, chronic pain tends to be associated with a condition. Chronic pain is difficult and sometimes impossible to fully cure. At the Pain Clinic, pain management or pain medicine treatments help individuals manage pain that affects them in their daily lives. Because chronic pain is a complex problem, we take a multidisciplinary approach in developing patient treatment plans, which includes medical management of pain and a variety of minimally invasive procedures.
In addition to chronic pain, our team also treats:
- Herniated or bulging discs
- Pinched nerves
- Low back pain
- Neck pain
- Joint pain
- Sciatica
- Muscle pain
What to Expect
The Pain Clinic works on a referral basis. Notification from a qualified physician is required before consultations, treatments and procedures may begin at the Pain Clinic.
You will be contacted by the care team at the Pain Clinic several days before your appointment. They will provide you with information to prepare for your visit.
When you visit our clinic, we will review your medical and pain history, look over the results of any diagnostic tests you may have completed and do a physical exam. Further tests may be needed to help develop the most appropriate treatment plan for you. We also work closely with other specialists that complement your pain treatment.
