Injury Care

Work Injury Care

Allen Occupational Health Services offers the finest healthcare related to the treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses. A philosophy based on getting the employee back to the job as quickly as possible is a benefit to the company and its operation, but is also a benefit to the employee. The employee is treated and then educated about the injury: the extent of the injury, recovery process and estimated time, therapy processes and outcomes to be expected, and work restrictions. Initial treatment is always available at the time of the injury and does not require an appointment. Follow up treatment, work restrictions, if any, as well as possible referrals will be discussed with our business clients prior to scheduling further treatment.

As specialists in occupational medicine, our physicians and staff perform all aspects of workers compensation including:

  • Acute injury treatment
  • Follow-up care management
  • Physical and occupational therapy
  • Case management
  • Independent medical examinations
  • Second opinions
  • Impairment ratings

Client companies are assured that their employees are receiving the best care available with an emphasis on early return-to-work.

Through its philosophy and practice, Allen Occupational Health Services has incorporated case management into its services. Injuries and illnesses are monitored with a state-of-the-art computerized injury tracking system. Services are discussed with our business clients throughout the treatment process. Ongoing communication plays an important part in keeping client companies, insurance carriers, referring physicians, and family members informed of the employee's progress.
