Biography

Dr. Kumar completed his medical education at St. George's Medical School. Dr. Kumar completed his residency and internship at Albany Medical Center in New York; he completed his fellowship at Sanford University of South Dakota School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Kumar is fluent in English and Hindi. 

Dr. Kumar's clinical interests include cardiovascular care, invasive cardiology, nuclear cardiology and preventive health. His procedures include a coronary angiogram, echocardiogram, stress cardiogram, transesophageal echo and nuclear stress tests. Dr. Kumar's care is patient-centered and focused on quality and prevention.
