Biography
Troy graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. His clinical interests include sports medicine, concussion management and musculoskeletal injury.
He is a member of the Iowa Athletic Trainers' Society, Mid America Athletic Trainers' Association and the National Athletic Trainers' Association, and is the current committee chair of Governmental Affairs for the Iowa Athletic Trainers Society.
Troy was the recipient of the Iowa High School Athletic Association's Sports Medicine Specialist award in 2002 and 2014. In addition, he was recognized by the Iowa Athletic Trainers Society in 2010 as the High School Athletic Trainer of the Year and received the Athletic Training Volunteer of the Year award in 2015.
