Biography

Addictions and Behavioral Health Therapist

With over three decades of experience in the field of behavioral health, I bring a grounded, compassionate approach to my work as a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW). My therapeutic style blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s unique path toward recovery.

I earned my master’s degree in social work from UW-Milwaukee and have spent my career supporting adults facing substance use disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia, intellectual disabilities, smoking cessation, life transitions, and work and family concerns. My approach is empathetic, honest, and collaborative — fostering a nonjudgmental space where change becomes possible.

I specialize in helping clients manage stress, recover from trauma, build self-worth, and create meaningful connections. Whether you’re grappling with addiction or simply looking for greater clarity and balance in your life, I’m here to walk beside you.

Outside of work, I find peace in the outdoors—fishing, hiking, and biking help keep me grounded. I believe that connection is the antidote to addiction and that recovery is about expanding our lives, not shrinking them.

If you’re ready to start your journey toward healing, I invite you to reach out.
