Biography
Why did you become a physician/provider? I decided to pursue a career in Family Medicine because I saw a need that simply was not being met. In my years of working as a registered nurse in the Emergency Room, I never knew how my patients' stories ended. Family Medicine allows me to care for patients through their entire lifespan.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy? Being open-minded and non-judgemental about patients' lifestyle choices so they feel comfortable sharing their concerns in order to help me meet their health care needs.
Why did you choose your specialty? I decided to pursue Family Medicine so I can care for patients through their entire lifespan. Occupational Health is a new interest.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients? Compassion, empathy, and showing respect by listening to patients.
