Megan Fifield, AuD, MA, CCC-A

Megan Fifield Au.D., M.A., CCC-A, is an Audiologist located at Blank Children's Hospital in Downtown, Des Moines at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Megan is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Masters in Audiology, and Doctorate of Audiology. Megan completed her clinical externship at Mayo Clinic Rochester in Minnesota prior to receiving her Doctorate of Audiology in 2023. Megan has been with Unity Point since 2024 seeing patients of all ages for hearing evaluations, hearing aid, and rehabilitation services. Megan primarily sees adult patients; however, she also completes newborn hearing screenings and works with children over the age of five for diagnostic services. She also works with patients for a variety of ear mold and hearing protection needs (swim plugs, musician earplugs, recreational and occupational hearing protection options).  Megan has a special interest in serving the community and sees Veteran's in the clinic for Compensation and Pension evaluations. Megan believes in a family and patient-centered approach to hearing healthcare. Megan places a high importance on utilizing evidence-based practice measures to ensure best outcomes for patients and their families.
