"I am a Nurse Practitioner eager to help alleviate acute symptoms and manage chronic conditions. My interests include metabolic disease, mental health, and preventative health in at risk and underserved patient populations."
Max chose to become a provider to try and impact his patient’s health and wellbeing on a larger scale. He previously worked in the UnityPoint Health - Meriter Emergency Department as a nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine. He has seen the patient and health care system relationship firsthand and is excited to continue to provide care to his patients in a primary care setting.
Max is interested in helping to alleviate his patients’ acute symptoms and manage chronic conditions. He prides himself on his working relationships with his patients by including them in decision making and making sure they understand his point of view as a provider. Additionally, Max’s interests include metabolic disease, mental health, and preventative care.
In his free time Max enjoys playing golf, exercising, watching basketball and football and spending time with his wife and son. He also volunteers his time as a provider with Perry Free Family Clinic, a clinic focused on improving health care access for Black men in and around the Madison area.
