Biography
Addictions and Behavioral Health Therapist
Each person has a story — and I consider it a privilege to hear yours. I'm Leah, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience guiding individuals and families through challenges related to trauma, substance use, re-entry into society, disability, and immigration. I have experience working with children, adults, and families.
With a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Utah State University, I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic therapies, and mindfulness to help clients find stability and healing — at their own pace. I specialize in emotional stability and trauma processing and like to use body-based solutions and bilateral stimulation in my work with individuals.
My therapeutic approach is warm, curious, and collaborative. I believe growth happens when we explore both mind and body responses to stress and pain — and when we don’t take ourselves too seriously all the time.
Outside of sessions, I recharge outside and enjoy feeling connected to nature. I believe in the deep value of human connection and humor on the path to recovery.
If you're looking for a thoughtful, body-aware approach to therapy, I’d love to connect.
