Why did you become a physician/provider?
I have witnessed situations when a patient had concerns regarding their health and care. I want to be able to listen to my patients and know them on a deeper level. I also want to be able to advocate for them if needed.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
I like to treat my patients the same way I would want my family members to be treated if they were in the hospital or same situation.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about?
I am very passionate about the adult population and the diverse health problems many people struggle with daily. I have a background working in the critical care/pulmonary setting as an RN before obtaining my ARNP education and license.
Why did you choose your specialty?
I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, using critical thinking skills, and taking care of medically complex problems.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
Trustworthy, supportive, compassionate, attentive, motivated
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
I am motivated by my patients and their families. It puts a smile on my face knowing I am helping someone everyday.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I am excited to grow as a nurse practitioner. I enjoy managing patients care and watching them achieve their goals.
