Biography

“I have always had a passion for medicine,” Dr. Blamoun said. “There is no better way to help people. I was drawn to critical care medicine in particular because that is when people are the most ill and most in need of help.”

"I truly care about my patients and always treat them as I would treat a member of my family. They will always get my honest opinion and the best possible care."

Dr. Blamoun has a special interest in ultrasound technology and, on a national level, teaches other health care professionals how to maximize its use.

“Ultrasound has made vital contributions to critical care medicine,” he said. “With ultrasound equipment, we can make better diagnoses and help people recover in the safest way possible,” he said.

Dr. Blamoun enjoys teaching and is an adjunct faculty member at the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions at Central Michigan University, where he teaches critical care medicine.
