Jessica Manders, PA-C

Jessica Manders, PA-C, is a provider at UnityPoint Clinic Virtual Urgent Care. Jessica knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. She worked in a variety of healthcare professions, while obtaining her undergraduate degree. After graduating, Manders worked in a laboratory. Missing interaction with patients led Jessica to pursue an advanced degree that enabled her to serve patients on a regular basis.
Jessica believes it is important to think from the patient’s perspective, in order to provide the best care. She is truly humbled when she sees a patient that is thankful and appreciative of the care they received. She loves the variety that working in Urgent Care provides.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys movies, being outside and spending time with her family.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Northern Iowa, Certificate of Clinical Laboratory Science from Mayo School of Health and her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Des Moines University.
