Why did you become a provider?
I became a nurse practitioner to provide patients and their families with high quality evidence-based healthcare that is provided with compassion, respect, and dignity to all.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
My medical philosophy is to make sure each patient/family understand their healthcare options with all pros/cons, so they can decide what decision is right for their Holistic Self.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about?
I am very passionate about giving care to adults, geriatrics, and hospice/palliative care patients, so they can find the quality of living that enhances their Holistic Self.
Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose Adult-Gerontology as my specialty, so I could provide patients with compassionate healthcare that aligns with their Holistic Self.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
Compassion, High Quality Evidence-Based Healthcare, Respect, Dignity, and providing patient-centered care that is built from the patient/provider trust relationship.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
Assisting patients to find the right answers to their healthcare needs that fit their Holistic Self and seeing that the plan of care provides them with increased living quality.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity and deserves to have equal access to high quality evidence-based healthcare.
