Why did you become a physician/provider? I hold an unshakable belief in an individual’s ability to gradually improve and heal their lives.
What qualities best describe the care you provide to your patients? Intuitive, empathic, encouraging, strength based and positive focus on the present and the future.
Being a mental healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? Assisting others, in finding ways to best help themselves and providing tools they may choose to use beyond therapy, is a daily inspiration.
What is the most important message you would like to share with your patients? Remember: therapy is a gentle and gradual process and the problem did not begin overnight but effort between sessions helps clients make more progress.
What would you like your patients to know about you? As a middle-aged woman, I have a lot of life experience and have known all kinds of people from a wide array of backgrounds.
