About Brandon Nelson, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C, BC-ADM, CCD
Biography
Professional Statement:
I became a nurse practitioner because I enjoy helping people. I developed an interest in the endocrine system early in my career because of its complexities and vital role in everyday life. I strive to offer comprehensive, holistic, personalized care that has a meaningful impact on patients' overall health and well-being.
Describe your average patient?
My clinical practice focuses on individuals with diabetes and metabolic bone disorders (osteoporosis, osteopenia, hyperparathyroidism, Paget's disease).
What would your patients say about you?
I am professional, empathetic, and a good listener. I prefer to talk with people, not at them. I try to be conversational and listen.
What is the ideal provider/patient relationship?
A relationship that engages in shared-decision making.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy traveling, cooking, and college sports, as well as sharing a good cup of coffee with family and friends.
