Biography
Aziza Wahby, DO, grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa, with fond memories of her father coming home from work and sharing stories of his day—moments that inspired her appreciation for dedication and service. She has always loved solving problems for people, finding joy in the challenge of helping them and the satisfaction of seeing them happy.
Dermatology allows Dr. Wahby to build long-term relationships with her patients, especially those managing chronic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, or skin cancers. “It’s not a one-time deal,” she says. “We become friends. I really enjoy that part of it.”
She attended medical school in New York City, where she lived for about ten years, and completed her dermatology residency in Cleveland, Ohio. While she initially planned to return to New York, she chose to stay in Cleveland after meeting her husband, a musician with the Cleveland Orchestra. Together, they enjoy gardening, scuba diving, cooking and reading.
Dr. Wahby is thrilled to visit Fort Dodge and serve the community she grew up in. “I cannot believe how nice the people in Iowa are. If you’re from here, you understand—but these people have truly been wonderful,” she says.
