Bariatric Surgery Support Group Meeting

Individuals who have had or are considering bariatric surgery are invited to attend this support group. Meetings can be attended in-person or virtual. They are a welcoming space designed to answer questions, provide information about bariatric surgery and offer support throughout the weight loss journey.

Someone will direct you to the meeting room when you arrive.

• Open to all individuals who are considering or have had bariatric surgery
• Free to attend - registration not required, but appreciated to help plan for number of attendees.
• Please call (319) 368-5936 with any questions.

VIRTUAL EVENT:

• To attend online, register for the event to receive a Microsoft Teams meeting link. A Teams account is not required to join. Individuals who do not have Microsoft Teams installed on their computer will be prompted to join via web browser.

*DIRECTIONS TO SURGERY STAFF DEVELOPMENT ROOM

1. Enter through St. Luke’s SurgiCare door (back side of hospital, top level of parking ramp)
2. Take the elevator to second floor
3. Once off the elevator, you will be at SurgiCare. Turn right, walking past the reception desk and through the ICU waiting area.
4. Turn left and proceed down the hallway, passing the ICU Family Entrance on the right.
5. The Surgery Staff Development Room is through the next door on the right.
