Ways to Give
There are as many ways to support, just as there are many needs that need supported. However, planning a gift is more than just finding a need. There are many factors to consider. If you aren't familiar with the concepts and strategies of charitable gift planning, take a moment to consider some of the factors in planning for the future.
There are several different tax-deductible ways you can give to the Foundation. Gifts may include cash, pledges, securities, life insurance and real estate. Many contributors multiply their support of the by taking advantage of their employer's matching gifts program.
Long-range estate and financial planning are an opportunity for you to make substantial contributions while benefiting your own financial status. Bequests and trusts continue to be critical to the Foundation's support.
Finally, a memorial gift is a meaningful way to recognize the memory of a loved one, whether that's a family member, friend or colleague. Honorary gifts ensure a person's life and accomplishments aren't forgotten, and the UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown Foundation will notify the honoree or next of kin should you choose to designate a memorial gift.
