Minimally Invasive Technology
The Ion endoluminal system is a robotic-assisted minimally invasive option for lung biopsies. Ion allows physicians to obtain tissue samples from deep within the lung and detect lung cancer in patients earlier.
The system uses an ultra-thin, maneuverable catheter to reach deep into the peripheral lung that provides greater stability and precision compared to manual biopsy techniques.
