Pediatric Cardiology
Blank Children’s Cardiology, together with Children’s Nebraska, is expertly trained to care for children from birth through early adulthood with congenital heart defects and heart conditions encountered later in adolescence.
Our team of pediatric cardiology experts provides individualized care and treatment plans centered around the patient and family. We make sure patients and their families feel fully informed about the patient’s diagnosis, treatment plan and follow-up care.
Your Child’s First Visit
Before scheduling an appointment at Blank Children’s Cardiology, your child will need a referral from their primary care provider or an emergency room physician. For your first visit, arrive 15 to 20 minutes ahead of appointment time. You will want to bring the following information to the first appointment:
- Insurance card
- Photo identification
- Medication list (prescription and over the counter)
- Copay, co-insurance or deductible amount that may be due at time of service
- And any additional information we may need to know
