Breast Care and Bone Health

UnityPoint Clinic Breast Care Center at Dakota Dunes specializes in women's breast care and bone health. We offer a variety of services including:

  • 2D mammography
  • 3D mammography
  • Abdominal ultrasound
  • Breast ultrasound
  • MRI guided breast biopsy
  • Stereotactic guided breast biopsy
  • Ultrasound guided breast biopsy
  • Bone density testing

Mammogram Screening

Women should have regular mammograms beginning at age 40, or sooner if recommended by their healthcare provider. The Breast Care Center at Dakota Dunes accepts walk-in appointments for annual or baseline screening mammograms during the following hours, based on availability:

  • Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Friday, 10 a.m. to Noon.

Annual or baseline screening mammograms can also be scheduled online. If you are experiencing pain or other breast related concerns, you will need to contact your primary care provider for a referral to have a diagnostic mammogram scheduled.

Hospital Patient Portal (myMercy)

The Hospital Patient Portal (myMercy) gives you online access to portions of your hospital medical records and test results. For technical support or to reset your password, call the Support Center at 877-448-1721. If you have not accessed your hospital portal since 2019, you will need to create a new account. To gain access contact patient registration at 712-279-2493. You will need a cell phone or handheld device and will need to provide a cell phone number. A land line phone will not work.
