Hospice Care
UnityPoint Hospice has provided end-of-life care to adults and
children since 1989. Staff and volunteers walk beside each person and
their family, respecting, supporting and honoring their decisions
without judgment.
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance
plans. The generous gifts from compassionate donors ensure that no
person is denied care based on the inability to pay. Hospice care,
available to every person with a terminal illness, can provided months
of comfort and support while the patient and family embrace life.
Donations to UnityPoint Hospice help fund many programs and services
for patients and their loved ones, such as grief services for children
and adults, volunteer program support and equipment needs.
