Remembrance Roses

Your past donation to St. Luke’s Foundation in memory of a family member or friend paid tribute to a special life, while helping UnityPoint Health - Cedar Rapids make a difference for patients and their loved ones. The Mother of a Hospice patient told us:

The staff was focused, caring, compassionate and committed to our son and family. From adequately controlling his pain, to making sure he was comfortable, to talking with us about his life and personality, to knowing each of the family members by name, these caregivers were outstanding!

To honor our annual tradition of recognizing loved ones over Memorial Day weekend, we ask that you remember your family member or friend with another gift in their name. With your memorial donation of $30 or more, we will display a rose in the A Ave Lobby of St. Luke’s Hospital during Memorial Day weekend. Each rose will include a memory tag with the name of the life being honored. We will mail a photo of the rose to you.

Donations must be received by Monday, May 17.

Your thoughtfulness will recognize a person who meant so much to you, while supporting life-saving care and life-changing hope for patients and families in our community. Please call me at (319) 369-7807 with any questions about this special tribute. Our sincere apologies that routine visiting at the hospital is limited. We appreciate your understanding during these times, as we protect our patients, staff and community members. Thank you.
