Jones Regional Medical Center Auxiliary
The Jones Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, comprised of more than 250 men and women from all over the Jones County area, promotes and advances the welfare of Jones Regional Medical Center through service to the patients, families and staff at JRMC through fundraising. The Auxiliary's main fundraisers include:
- No-Bake Sale
- Note Card Sales & Holiday fundraisers
In recent years, the Auxiliary has supported the hospital by providing funds for an optical chair and just recently pledged $50,000 towards the expansion project. Since its establishment in 1957, the Auxiliary has donated more than $160,000 for hospital needs. In 1994, the Auxiliary began a scholarship program in which it annually provides $500 scholarships to students from Jones County area high schools. Scholarships may also be awarded to a JRMC team member or a volunteer. The students must be planning to study a health care field.
