About This ProviderPrint
Claudia Vicetti, MD brings unique knowledge to the Cedar Valley as an expert in managing viral and bacterial infections in children.
Why did you become a provider?
The human body can do amazing things and understanding how it works has always been my passion. I love that I can use my knowledge and expertise to actually help children and make an impact in their lives. Whether it is about helping them stay healthy, overcome an illness or provide emotional support, nothing is more rewarding than knowing I can be part of a child's successful pathway to healthy adulthood.
What's your medical philosophy?
To always treat a child, not a disease or condition.
What type of care are you most passionate about?
Pediatric viral and bacterial infections.
Why did you choose your speciality?
I chose my career in pediatrics because providing care for children legitimately makes me happy. Kids make sure I have plenty of reasons to smile at the end of each day and I would not want it any other way.
What qualities best describe the care you give to your patients?
I believe that every patient deserves a plan of care that is clear, evidence-based and adjusted to meet their individual needs and those of their families.
What motivates you each day?
Each new day comes with the possibility to make a difference in a child's life.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I will always advocate for your child's well-being, giving my 100% to provide the best care I can.
