Allen Child Protection Center Earns Re-Accreditation
The Allen Child Protection Center has been awarded re-accreditation by the National Children’s Alliance following an extensive application and site review process. Accreditation is the highest level of membership with National Children’s Alliance, an accrediting agency for children’s advocacy centers across the country.
Children’s advocacy centers must undergo a re-accreditation process every five years to ensure that best practices are continually being applied and response to responding to allegations of child abuse is effective and efficient to put the needs of child victims first. With accreditation standards being updated in 2017, re-accreditation this year reflects Allen Child Protection Center’s commitment to providing evidence-based methods and practice.
The Allen Child Protection Center opened in 2010 to provide forensic interviews, medical examinations and family advocacy for children and dependent adults throughout a 27-county service area.
