Kanuri joins St. Luke's Cardiology Services, Cardiovascular Associates
UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Cardiology Services and Cardiovascular Associates welcomes Swapna Kanuri, MD to its cardiology staff.
Kanuri attended medical school at Shri B.M. Patil Medical College in Bijapur, India and received a Master of Science in Experimental Pathology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. She completed residencies in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts and Internal Medicine at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. In addition, she completed a fellowship in adult cardiovascular disease, also at Creighton University Medical Center.
Kanuri is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular sonography. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin.
Kanuri joins Drs. Roque Arteaga, Herbert Hartman, Michael Hogan, Deborah Majerus, Jon Peacock, Thong Pham, Prasanna Sugathan, Jeffrey Sykes, Joy Taylor, William Wanner and Edward Zajac and mid-level providers Michelle Hardie, Kathryn Haack, Teresa Muller and Holly Rozeboom already in practice.
For nearly 40 years, St. Luke’s Cardiology Services and Cardiovascular Associates have been providing cardiology care in Siouxland and various outreach locations in Iowa and Nebraska.
