Children's Miracle Network Teams Up with IHOP for 10th Annual Pancake Day Celebration

IHOP to Serve Free Pancakes on March 3

Sioux City’s IHOP restaurant will serve hundreds of free pancakes for the 10th Annual National Pancake Day on March 3. The celebration is designed to bring the community together to raise money for UnityPoint Health - St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network.

IHOP restaurant, located at 801 Gordon Drive, will invite guests to enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3. In return, they ask for donations to support St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network. This year, IHOP hopes to raise $3.5 million nationwide and give away millions of pancakes. Since IHOP began its National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised almost $16 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate.

Miracle Balloons can also be purchased for $1 at IHOP now through March 3. Balloons will be put on display at IHOP and proceeds will be donated to St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network.

St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network makes a difference in the day-to-day lives of children whose lives have been enhanced by the financial support of the Siouxland community. Pediatric health care at St. Luke’s has been improved with the ability to purchase new equipment and supplies as well as offer vital programming for parents and patients alike. Children’s Miracle Network continues to change thousands of lives each year.
