Buena Vista University has a dance marathon scheduled on April 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Siebens Fieldhouse.
Both events will benefit St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network and its efforts to enhance children’s services and programs at St. Luke’s. Students will be celebrating the funds raised through their Dance Marathon efforts by staying on their feet through dancing, games and entertainment.
Dance Marathon is a nationwide movement involving college and high school students at more than 250 schools across the country, all raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in their community. Each event is entirely student run and all donate 100% of the funds raised directly to their local Children's Miracle Network. Students learn invaluable leadership and life skills while raising funds and interacting with children’s hospital patients and families.
Dance Marathons now span across the entire country, benefiting hundreds of hospitals and countless kids. Last year alone, college dance marathons raised more than $15 million.
