Fun Way to Give Back, Sew Skirts for CMN Kids!
July 15, 2015
The best gifts are often handmade, and a national sewing charity is making it possible for Siouxlanders to make and donate handcrafted skirts to sick kids. This traveling charity, Skirting the Issue, will make their way to Sioux City for the Designer Joi’s Sewing Holiday Event. Skirts made at the event will be donated to kids at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network.
Women and men of all ages are encouraged to take a few minutes to come out for FREE and sew a skirt to be donated to CMN. Never sewn before? Great! Here's your chance to learn from the best for the best reason - to add some color to a little girls life, stitch by stitch.
